Identifying wrong seat belt buckles

Identifying wrong seat belt buckles

Identifying seat belt buckles of the wrong type by measuring slight shape differences.

Various methods can be used to detect seat belt buckles of the wrong type and differences between left and right buckles. As shown by the example below, the XG Series measures the dimensions in order to reliably identify buckles even when they have only slight differences in shape.

Benefit

Seat belt buckles of the wrong type were previously identified by visual checks. Due to extremely high daily production volume, the inspections were very time-consuming and sometimes mistakes occurred. Using machine vision equipment for this process allows for automatic inspection of all parts and eliminates mistakes.
