Counting medicine packages
The vision system counts the number of medicine packages.
The Blur filter blends the light edges outward, making them appear larger and allowing for them to be detected more accurately. The Real-time Shade Correction filter eliminates background interference and variations in illumination, which further increases stability. As a result, it is possible to accurately count the number of packages.

A vision system was already used for counting, but there was not sufficient contrast between packages and the background, leading to miscounts. The XG-7000 Series makes it possible to stably detect the edges of each packet by using the Real-time Shade Correction filter with a Blur filter.
